I'm wondering about downloading Fallout 3 from the Xbox Live Marketplace. I see it's priced in real cash, but I was wondering could I still use Microsoft points to buy it since it's on XBL? Do I need to use a credit card? I've searched the web and can't find any answers.

You can. I think you have to buy it from the website though.

Thanks, I don't want to sound ungrateful but I need a reason, so you're banned for being helpful. Thanks again.

Banned because I wonder how many people shut their Wii U off, when it was downloading the 5 GB file they need for the Wii U to work (or something like that, I don't know exactly what the file is meant for.)

Also, banned because I have to buy the DLC still, after downloading the 5 and a half GB Fallout 3 file.

It pretty much was an update to make the Wii U work.

Wonderful planning to make a system that doesn't actually work out of the box. Trying to trick the people who already knew the Wii U was just an accessory for the Wii, but don't understand why lack of internet is preventing them from using their new system.

It can take upwards of an hour to download the update and even longer to set up profiles and what not so I imagine a lot of really sad kids this christmas.

If a system can't work unless it can be connected to the internet, then I'm wondering why they wouldn't go with what I think Sony said about how they wanted to make the PS4 download games only, and no physical game media for it, but decided not to because something like (paraphrasing) "world wide internet connection speeds aren't good enough yet, and it'd decrease sales, so we've decided not to do it" or something along those lines. So I'm wondering if Nintendo would ever want to do that, since they wouldn't be selling Wii U's to those people who couldn't download games. I'm just curious.

Then of course there are many people who don't like that they can't trade in their games for other games, but from what I've heard many developers like it.
