I know a lot of people like them, so I hope for the fans that you do get some more.

I just personally won't buy their music, which to me isn't that great and not worth my money.

Alright I love LoG. I've tried playing some of their awesome riffs and it's really tough. I should try Omertà because they're lead Mark Morton says that's their easiest song.

I'm pretty dissapointed so far in the songs that overlap between rock band 3 and rocksmith. I wonder if there is a latency issue that prevents Rocksmith from doing the fun solos in my sharona and Freebird.

Both of those songs are way more fun on medium pro in rock band 3.

One of my biggest complaints about RB3 was the difficulty spike going from Hard to Expert.
I was hoping that Rocksmith would be the solution to that since they introduce notes more gradually as you level up, and had a 'accelerator' that went down lower than 50%.

One of the things I was working on in RB3 was 'My Sharona' particularly this part:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNuQbiXgxGg

i.e. the solo at the 2:50 mark in that video.

I was pretty disspointed to see, in rocksmith, that the entire section almost isn't there at all. it's just chords or a really dumbed down version in 'single'. (or am I missing something?)

Also regarding freebird, I really miss playing the opening arpeggio section - again, in rocksmith it is just chords.

I was thinking it was because they just can't read notes fast enough due to input lag.
But on further thought, that can't be right, because the tapping part of 'na na na na' is really fast too.

But yes the intro to freebird is just chords because they didn't chart "slide guitar"

Also the songs for today are up

I don't have that song unless it came on disc, but I'd check the arrangement that you're playing. It may be a chords-only or a different solo. I know some songs--like "Freebird"--have at least two arrangements. There's the rhythm arrangement for "Freebird," the Chord arrangement, and then the rhythm/solo, the Combo arrangement.
