My copy runs ok as well. It only starts to lag when you get to bigger venues.

yeah, I'm rather impressed how well it runs on my pc.
I'm a little torn since I have a lot of DLC on my xbox already.

Everyone seems excited about the Incubus DLC that's coming on Tuesday!

I suspect DLC for Rocksmith will be ending soon also. They'll want time to decide waht to do about the next gen now that the announcements are starting to roll out.

    I think we'll see a rocksmith 2.

I don't think it's anywhere near over yet. If it's still profiting on the current generation of consoles, they wouldn't stop it. We're reaching an overlapping point, not an end

yeah, RB DLC didn't end because of the new consoles. it ended because it was no longer profitable to keep releasing it, something that began well before the PS4 announcement. RS will keep releasing DLC for current gen consoles for as long as it's profitable for them to do so. it would probably be in their best interests to make some announcement though about their next-gen plans, though, so people aren't caught off guard if DLC doesn't transfer to the new consoles or stops on the current-gen systems. they probably won't have any plans to announce til after the 720 is announced and they have a clearer idea of how that transition is going to be handled.

I'm pretty sure it was still making them money. It was productivity bandwidth that forced them to stop.

i'm not sure if it was still making money. when you factor in licensing costs, developer costs, submission costs, maintenance, etc it could have easily veered into negative revenue territory. and it wasn't going to turn around. even if it was still making a profit, it was a tiny, measly profit.... if you can keep doing something that is making a tiny profit, or you can shift those resources to other projects with a much higher expected rate of return, then that's what you do. at least if you want to stay in business.

the point is, the decision to end DLC was ultimately a financial decision. to the extent that the upcoming new-gen consoles made them realize that chances of turning DLC sales numbers around was nil, it may have played a part. but even if RB3 could be played on next-gen consoles and all DLC transferred, it still probably wasn't profitable enough to keep it going. RS will make their DLC decisions with the same criteria; they won't stop making DLC as long as there's enough money to make it worthwhile.

Rather disappointing choices in the Incubus pack. Not going to be an instant purchase like I initially thought.

I only really wanted stellar in a music game... And neither delivered. :(
