I did research, actually. I checked website reviews, system specs, and did a fair share of asking around.
Funny how many places mention that the Wii had problems with DLC and graphics, but no one mentioned that the PS3 version is basically gimped with regards to the Network.
Is it so wrong to expect the same services from the same game?
Yes, but generally core content is the same across platforms. I might be OCD, but I can't exactly justify buying all the parts again AND a new console just to access content.
One solution, in my mind, would be to make a queue of all the network songs not ported over, and release one to the PS3 every month or so until the queue is empty and the content is all available.
If a month is not feasible, insert whatever time-frame is needed.
Well, at least you got a blu-ray player out of the deal.
RBN isn't core content. It's user-generated content. Which is almost never the same cross-platform.
