Nobody knows for sure, could be a week, could be months, though I find Offbeat songs typically get through relatively quickly. Depends on whether the reviewers find problems.
Giraffes?Giraffes! has a song that is only available on 360. Specifically: "Werewolf Grandma w/ Knives (Part Two: Don't Die)." Make it happen!
My current request list:
- John Parr - "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)"
- Buckner & Garcia - "The Defender"
- Buckner & Garcia - "Goin' Berzerk"
- Brian Kahanek - "Gemini"
THIS~!
HMX I need this on my PS3 now~!
Oh, also these in order of preference:
- Dance for the Dying - "Mannequin"
- State of Shock - "Money Honey"
- Freen in Green - "Grocery Party"
- Freen in Green - "Ramp Truck (RB3 version)"
- John Parr - "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)"
- Brian Kahanek - "Gemini"
Say, I always wondered about something regarding 2X Bass Pedal versions and PS3 ports (and no I am not going to ask for more 2x Pedal versions so don't worry =P)
Basically, do 2x Pedal sales add up to the chance of a song porting or do you guys only count sales on the normal version? Aka. if a song sells well but only if you count both versions will it have as big a chance of porting as a song that sells well on single pedal only?
I'm paraphrasing here, but HMX released 5 2X Pedal songs about a year ago, and they found that
1) Sales of 2X pedals suffer if they're not released at the same time as the regular song (2-3 songs were co-released, the others were songs already on the PSN for a while).
2) 2X Bass pedal sales didn't sell as well as the regular versions
3) They would have remove a different new song to release a 2X bass song in the future (PSN is limited to 5 a week in general, with very few exceptions).
So, we've been told that it's not going to happen, as it just wasn't worth the cost and song displacement.

Rereading the question, that wasn't what you asked (sorry), but I'll leave what I posted.
Regarding what you asked, I'm not sure, but I would think HMX can track individual user sales of the song and remove any overlap in IDs to get a handle on how many unique people purchased a song, and that may have some effect on songs that port over.
That being said, hopefully it's not too heavy, as it could easily tip the scales for "moar metalz!" to come in trough RBN, and the PS3 community isn't into that quite as much.
