White Zombie fans can also pick up “Super-Charger Heaven” – known to many as “Devilman” due to the song’s repeating, hard-driving chorus – from 1995’s Astro-Creep: 2000.

“Living Dead Girl,” from Rob Zombie’s 1998 solo debut Hellbilly Deluxe, and “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” from British rockers The Darkness round out next week’s killer selection of rock n’ roll perfect for any Halloween Rock Band celebration!

As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.

    Available on Xbox 360, Wii™ and PlayStation®3 system (October 25th, 2011):
    • The Darkness – “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” X
    • Rob Zombie – “Living Dead Girl”
    • White Zombie – “Thunder Kiss ‘65”
    • White Zombie – “Super-Charger Heaven” X

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system October 26th)

The tracks will be available for purchase individually on Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii™. Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

    Price:
$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points) per song
    $2.00 USD (200 Wii Points™) per song

And for those who were trying to solve all the clues...

Ebony (black) and Ivory (white) = The Darkness and White Zombie

The Black Lantern ring is from the Blackest Night comic event (another Darkness reference) and brought many characters back as zombies (another White/Rob Zombie reference).

Lady Frankenstein: Living Dead Girl (my personal favorite song of the week) opens with a quote from the trailer for that movie. (watch it here, it's the second line)

Rooftop Storm is obviously a reference to White Zombie - Thunder Kiss '65 (it even mentions Zombies in the effect text).

The pirate costumes were for Halloween, of course. Something needs to balance out the zombies, and I've already done enough ninja posting in the thread.

Everything else was pretty much a red herring.

Congrats to Dog for randomly guessing a song right before I'd even started hinting. ;)

I was under the impression we already had Thunder Kiss '65. Guess not. But man, I think the big news this week is The Darkness. That's going to be EPIC. Goodbye vocal chords.
