All this talk about Hysteria confuses me greatly.

I've never had the song appear in my RB3. I use a PAL RB3 with a PAL RB1 export. Is there something else I need to do to get it to appear?

I have to say that I have been play Hysteria and Beetlebum on RB3 fine since RB3 first came out? I will try the patch tonight. I am in UK playing all UK discs for all 3 RB and also play on Xbox.

Hm. Does it show up in RB2? It should show up in RB3, but maybe the export file got deleted somehow. Checking RB2/LRB is the fastest way of determining this if you have a lot of DLC.

The new patch causes problems with the PAL tracks. Hysteria and Beetlebum won't work anymore, even if they did beforehand.

Yep same problem for me, started the game after the patch and it gave me disc unreadable as soon as I got into the song library, back o dashboard, tried again and this time got into the library and got a disc unreadable trying to play Dani California. Haven't tried Hysteria or Beetlebum yet but I imagine they're not going to work either. God dammit I was so excited about this patch too :(

Ah ok I got it wrong then. I'll reject the patch. I prefer Hysteria to Dani California :)

Happening to me too, says disc is unreadable when trying to play Dani California, Hysteria, Beetlebum. Countdown To Insanity, Manu Chao, Perfekte Welle, New Wave.

XBox360 Elite, 120GB hard drive.

2) What region is your console profile (gamertag) in?
Italy

3) What version of Rock Band 3 are you using (North America or Europe)?
Europe

4) Is RB3 installed on your console's hard drive?
Yes

5) Did you import RB1 from a different region?
No.

6) Have you experienced problems with any other songs since downloading the patch?
I now have the same exact problem with:

Hysteria
Perfekte Welle
New Wave
Beetlebum
Manu Chao
Countdown to Insanity

Before the patch I had played them without problems. Hopefully this is not happening to other songs that I haven't tested yet, sigh.

Tried with and without it installed.

Nope, PAL copy.

6) Have you experienced problems with any other songs since downloading the patch?
Only tried Hysteria and Dani California so far, Tried deleting the effected songs and reexporting - Dani California and Hysteria work fine in Rock Band 2, and Hysteria works fine in a unpatched Rock Band 3. A Hysteria that is bought from the US marketplace appears to be fine, although for some reason, when downloaded from US XBL it's classed as "Marketplace Content". While when exported it's classed as a "Save Game" (Along with all the other RB1 exports)
