I only have one artist with one point in my wishlist, you guys are super unfair using all ten of your points, maybe use a little less so it can be balanced?

I'll gladly use all 10 of my points for Flight of the Conchords.

I don't think we will ever get any more FotC. Although there are tons that I would love to get. Carol Brown would be soooo fun for keys and harmonies.

Dont you EVER say that! FOTC:RB Has been on my wishlist too long. Harmonix LISTENS to me! I posted my GD:RB around a year before the game came out. Coincidince? I think not.

I agree with absolutely all of that. The one thing I would add is: Will the new system garner more interest if it is perceived that HMX is making adjustments that make it more fair as opposed to making adjustments that make it less fair? I think so, and they should also be concerned about that point.

I know I suggested exactly one song to the old system. I even took a bit of time about it, and did a write up in the "why would this be a good song in Rock Band?" area. It went off into the ether, and I had no idea whether anyone at HMX ever saw it or whether anyone else ever suggested the same song or band. I had no motivation to bother suggesting any more songs. The new app is a vast improvement over that, and one of the things that makes it so much better is the perception that each person using it gets an equal vote. Is that perception accurate? Probably not since it's probably one person who's made 200 facebook accounts and pushed Muse to the top of the list. But at least the system is trying, as opposed to the old one where it was obvious that whoever had time to sit and bang suggestions into the box constantly would have the loudest voice.

Just because life isn't fair (yeah, my mother said that all the time too) doesn't mean that when life (or HMXHenry) hands you a chance to make some part of it a little more fair that you shouldn't take it. ;)
