It said I needed to register also but I just wasn't signed in to Facebook. After I signed in it worked fine.

I was on Facebook, and I'm pretty sure I was signed in to it since I could see all the crap my friends and family posted to their walls.

I don't know then. I only use my FB for that app.

    Ah ... well.

Figures that the day I finally log in to Facebook and go to the Dashboard to shuffle my wish list around is the day I encounter a problem.

The thing that really sucks is that I lost my wish list (but thankfully I took a screenshot of it before "uninstalling" the app).

Did you try signing out and in again?

Yes. That was the first thing I did and I did it multiple times.

I finally linked my account [whoops, I though that was already done] and now I have recommendations. Wow, person #1 on the list seems to have the exact same skill level that I do on every instrument, except that I'm way better at vocals. Surely we could help each other out by playing together online. Have any people here gotten friend requests though their game console based on the suggestions from the Dashboard app?

Still having problems with the app.

I think I screwed the pooch by removing the app yesterday to try to get it to work.

So did they ever figure out a system to give extra points?

I was thinking the other day, what if they rewarded people with points based on how many songs they own. Something like every 10 songs you buy gives you an extra point? This could encourage people to link their accounts, buy more to be able to upvote their favourite bands, and it will give the people with larger libraries more of a say (3000 songs = 300 points + 10 by default = 31 people's worth of votes for example)

    Just a thought :)

nope. that would make people vote who like what we already have. people who like the things we don't have yet will then have nothing to make their bands get into the game
