    We're back with more announcements!

We announced this band last time, and here's the first game play footage :

This is ETHS with their song Gravis Venter.

As we announced last month there will be two versions of these songs, but not for the drums! For the first time there will be two different vocal charts. One is the French version seen here, and there will also be an English language version as well.

Another new band we're announcing today is Panic the Memory.

Originally known as Fracture, the band recently re-branded themselves as Panic the Memory.

With a sound that features haunting female vocals, and gothic driving guitar riffs, the music draws comparisons with early Evanescence.

You can check out the first single we'll be bringing to the game "Beautiful Killer" here :

Hurm. Not sure how I feel about dual versions for different vocals. I dig the song, and I want it, but having two versions could make playing it online even more of a ***** than with most RBN songs. I'll have to coordinate any of my friends who are inclined to get it, and make sure we all get the same language version? Urgh.

    Edit:

We're going to have a lot more Anarchy Club in the future so stay tuned for announcements on songs in a future monthly spotlight thread.

I get the feeling I'm going to have lots more Anarchy Club in my library shortly....

Not really, I am a drummer, and I have one pedal, so the 2x versions don't impact me at all ;)

This is kind of like being a strings or vox player and having some drum friends with one pedal and some with 2, I guess (which I would think would suck). Except that in this case it's sort of random as to which version different friends might pick so it's even harder to coordinate.

Will it at least be 80 points so buying both won't be a huge deal?

Since they're Season of Mist bands they'll be charged at 160. I tried to sell them on the virtue of the 80 price point, but you know labels ;)

Sadly, no, all of the Season of Mist songs are 160

Best thing you can do is coordinate with your friends who are also buying the song.

Just an Aside, doing two different language versions was a specific request from the band.

Just be thankful there's no 2x bass version coming out...

    Idea (probably too late):
I notice there was only one vocal part. Possible to do the alternate language as a harmony somehow? I'm not really thinking both at the same time, more like if you pick solo you get one language and if you pick harmony you get the other (maybe split over two tube colors so the engine will be happy)? Are harmonies charted separately enough from solo to make that possible? Like, is it possible to have completely different tubes/lyrics between solo/harmony?

It's certainly stretching the engine beyond what was intended, but that's what RBN is for, eh? ;)

Edit: Never mind, even with different lyrics/tubes you wouldn't have a different vocal audio track :P
