My favorite Weird Al original is "Virus Alert" :(
I picked "Germs" but I'd also like to have "When I Was Your Age"
I just remembered When I was Your Age, was it on Off the Deep End? I actually really like that song thinking back, really there probably isn't any Weird Al I wouldn't buy.
That's correct. When I Was Your Age was on Off the Deep End. It's kind of a deeper cut but it still remains one of my favorite "Weird Al" songs.
But then again, Off the Deep End is one of my favorite "Weird Al" records. I think Running With Scissors still remains my favorite album, with Bad Hair Day and Off the Deep End as second and third, respectively. His last three albums, Poodle Hat, Straight Outta Lynwood, and Alpocalypse are definitely great albums but I haven't yet decided where they rank in my favorite "Weird Al" albums.
As GNF pointed out, Albuquerque is too long for Rock Band Network (which was pointed out in the OP). I believe the cut off point is ten minutes, and Albuquerque clocks in at about 12 minutes.
I believe they mentioned Hardware Store is not in the available songs from the record label(s) that they're talking to. The same might be the case for You Don't Love me Anymore, or it might be the fact that there is no bass and drums in the song and they're trying to get songs with all the parts.
Keep in mind that Catch-22 is part of TAG and as such has a vested interest in keeping things on-topic. Hence, his unofficial but understandable attempt at modding.
But back to the topic at hand, Off the Deep End was my first exposure to Weird Al so songs off of that would make me happy. I was never a big fan of When I Was Your Age, though. You Don't Love Me Anymore a little bit more, but the two non-listed OtDE tracks I'd want are Trigger Happy and Airline Amy.
I just like CNR, personally.
But since I'm too lazy to check out the other 3, I didn't bother voting.
Also, ATF, just say to yourself "I won. Now let's get off the computer and order a pizza." or something. Whether you're in the right or not, Lex isn't liking it.
ATF appears to be one of those people who just absolutely has to get the last word in on everything. It would be a real shame if his performance in this thread negatively affected TAG's initial thought on including the community in these kinds of decisions going forward.
