This kinda reminds me of the Rock Band DS game. Which I enjoy while on the crapper.
I will probably pick it up for the DLC.

I don't... understand... why it must be... twenty songs? Even if... it costs $20... that's the same as... ten tracks. If you already... like two... don't you only... need to like eight... more max?
That was my attempt at writing like Randy Orton. Unfortunately, only current WWE fans would get that. ;)
The only Gaga song I could see happening is Edge of Glory and it is entirely likely. I really believe this setlist will be poppier much like Lego. Fingers crossed for Fun.
Random Question: Does anyone know if the RB3 on-disc songs will somehow export? I'd assume they are the songs which aren't compatible with Blitz.
Like ZigZag indicated, there's no such thing as "Rock Band Blitz Files". Blitz reads RB3 files, the 25 songs in Blitz are effectively just 25 RB3 DLC tracks that come with the game. (Which makes me also agree with the all-or-nothing expectations on Pro upgrades.)
I suspect/hope that, after Blitz launches, we'll start to see a growth over the three-a-week DLC rate we've had lately. It just makes sense to increase the output after a new game release, and the audio team will have been done authoring these tracks for a little while now so the manpower should open up.
I hope there's a couple more metal songs besides Metal Health.
I can understand it being designed to read existing RB folders (to play RBB with old RB DLC and exports). It's a dangerous move to allow it to write to the RB folders (as it would need to to get RB3 to see the new songs). Much safer to have each game have a read-only relationship with any folder that isn't its own native data folder.
I'm the exact opposite. I'm sold on the game simply because of those two songs ("Jessie's Girl" doesn't hurt either). I can only imagine the rest will be pretty good, so even if I only play this Blitz game once or twice, I will gladly buy it just to get the songs into my RB3 rotation.
There are a good number of 1-track songs, too (some RBN stuff, and Song of the Century for official Harmonix charts).
Who says they haven't already slipped it into this last update? Given the dev cycle on games like this, maybe they already had something anticipated.
