It sounds kinda like a glitchcore remix of a real video game piece. I may want to put it on RBN.

    ANNOUNCEMENTZ TIME

Ok, so I have 2 announcements today.:

First up, I'm planning to remix Nathaniel Whitlock's I'm Nekkid. I'm waiting on him to send the stems to me right now, and if it works out, I have a very interesting idea on how I'm going to remix it. ;)

Second of all, and probably not as important, I'm working on my first mashup. All I'm going to say is, it mashes up a rythym game classic, with a modern pop hit.

And that's it for now. :)

Remember when I was telling you guys I was making my first mash-up involving a Rythym Game classic and a Pop hit? Well, Here's what happens when you mash up Buckethead with Carly Rae Jepsen.

And I was contemplating extending it rather than giving you guys the first 2 minutes, but the guitar solo takes up most of the song. But feedback is welcome! :)

Eh, no offense, but I never like remixes and mashups that take two songs at totally different tunings. Carly Rea is obviously in C, and Bucket head I think is in drop D. This can lead to some distracting flaws. I like the concept, though.

Yeah, true. But I think it's decent. But to each his own.

If the Buckethead song is just in D, you could take all the parts from that song and use a VST plugin in Reaper to sift the pitch really easily. It's "ReaPitch," under "VST" (as opposed to VSTi) in the Reaper plugins menu. Just pop that on a track with the Buckethead song samples, open the plugin, choose to drop the ppitch by one whole step, and voila, it''ll all be in the same key.
