I think the power-ups you described would be great if used in a competitive multiplayer mode. Kind of reminds me of the multiplayer power-ups in Amplitude like the Bumper and Crippler. And it'd also be cool if you could choose the computer as an opponent for multiplayer in that scenario (in case you have no one else to play with).

Not really a fan of the animated boss part of the idea though.

If so, I would totally get the Mz.Ruby boss theme from Sly Cooper and the Thevius Racconus and release it.

Wonder if future DLC would have boss battles. And also how that'd work with RBN. I personally would love to program in a "boss" for my own songs. Because they weren't bats*** insane enough.

LuigiHann, you know that already exists, right? It's called "Ziltoid the Omniscient."

Now if only we could fight him on the PS3...

It's a shame only two tracks have made it over, and that "ZTO", which is essential to set up the plot, probably will never come to the PS3 since it was RBN 1.

It would be awesome if you can battle online and per split-screen against your friends. There is a lack of competive gameplay in Rock Band 3.

This conjures up images of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, which would be awesome fun.
