RIP Tony Sly (No Use For A Name)
I don't know if anyone has heard of No Use For A Name, let alone Tony Sly... You might have seen Soulmate's music video on MTV back in the day. He is the lead singer of NUFAN, and he did his own solo acoustic thing where he both covered and wrote songs.

I really don't know what to say... So I will just leave a link to an acoustic rendition of a NUFAN song (Chasing Rainbows).

I am fully aware that it's a break up song, but the song fits (for me) today.

Dammit. They made a fantastic cover of the mediocre Turning Japanese.

Sad to see what happened :(

What's even worse is the fact that Tony was 41 years old...

He had a lot going for him =/

This sucks. "The Answer Is Still No" is a staple first track for punk rock mixes. One of my favorite Fat Wreck bands. RIP.

I agree with everything here except for Turning Japanese being a mediocre song.

    RIP.

    Wow, this sucks.

Leche con Carne is one of my most listened to albums of all time. I had a tape with it and Lagwagon's Hoss on it that I wore out.

Shocking news. I saw NUFAN about 10 times during the late 90's. One of the groups i listened to nearly every day while in high school. RIP Sly.
