For those just finding this post, who are reluctant to provide your personal FB account (very understandable), most people here (myself included) have created an FB account for Blitz. If you want to get in on the cool social benefits of Blitz, without putting your personal account out there, it's a good idea to do the same, since a lot of the best features are only available through the Facebook app (or have maxxed out friends list on their console of choice)
