Well, just played a song that would normally have a BRE in the main series (The Hand That Feeds) and it appears that instead of just wailing on whatever notes you want, they actually have you play what they charted under the BRE's (obviously scaled down to two notes). Just thought I'd point that out. If this is the case with all songs with a BRE, don't expect drum notes on most of them...

We use the animation cues, so drums should play as expected.
Of course, if the drummer is flailing onstage, you can expect to mash buttons in sync.
