Managed to get gold stars on "Shout" after 6 tries.

Coming 1st Place on the leaderboards for anything at all (still first on "Best of Me" 360!) and scoring within the top 50 on an awful lot of songs. Judging from the state of the high scores on widely owned songs this won't last but it feels good to be up amongst known names for a little while!

It felt like an eternity having to play it over and over trying to figure out what I was doing wrong

As for Cult of Personality use Road Rage, Blast, and Guitar

super easy

Gold starring difficult songs two days after getting Blitz, and earning many, many #1 spots on the leaderboards.

I now gold star about 75% of all songs I play. Feels good.
