How deeply do you form attachments with your Rockband online "friends"?
I tend to get attached to my online friends. There are times I find myself worrying about them...the losing sleep kind of worry. I've also been hurt at times because I've been a little too trusting. And..there are people I miss terribly if I don't hear from them for a while.

I know that there is life after Rockband..."friends" come and go. People change platforms, get married, get jobs, get bored with RB (this one I don't understand at all) It's just a game for crying out loud!!! Yet, I love my friends, and don't want them to go away.

Can anyone else relate to this, or do I need therapy? :P

You don't have to worry for me. ;)

Anyway, most of my friends on PSN I don't know personally, but rather from sites like this. Most of the time I add so many people I forget why I added them if I've not heard from them in awhile. But some stick, those who you talk to or play with the most etc. I can see what you mean about forming proper friendships with them, they're people after all, not robots! They can make you laugh/smile like any other friend. Only difference is you never see them, only hear/read what they say.

So no, it's not odd to love your friends. :)

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then softly leave
And it's me you need to show

    How deep is your love
    I really need to learn
Cause we're living in a world of fools
    Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

    I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest darkest hour
You're my saviour when I fall
    And you may not think
    I care for you
    When you know down inside
    That I really do
And it's me you need to show

    How deep is your love
    I really need to learn
Cause we're living in a world of fools
    Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I enjoy communicating and joking around with folks, so it is real easy to form bonds online.
I definitely feel some sort of loss when a friend stops posting or doesn't respond to a direct correspondence.
Therapy? No, you're one of the nicest folks on here. Nice people just inherently care a bit more.
