Since this is the year anniversary of the community Rock Band thread I thought in celebration we'd talk about what TAG is going to be doing for the NEXT year. So here's an advanced 'look' at what we'll be bringing to you later in 2013.

This stuff is still a ways out. We've got our current pile of fun to get through, but we wanted to do something special for the thread in honor of the year mark so here goes!

Since I started TAG there's been some watershed bands (at least for me) that I've been chasing since even before we released our first piece of DLC. We finally locked down a lot of them and so I'm proud to announce a VERY early look at what you can expect in 2013 (later half of) from TAG.

You should probably sit down ;)

    The return of Fearless Records
    American Head Charge
    Slightly Stoopid
    Black Light Burns (Wes Borland)
Early Avenged Sevenfold (first two albums)
    Sublime
    Children of Bodom
    The return of Subpop records
    In Flames
    Brendon Small/Dethklok

It's been a hell of a year for us at TAG.

2013 is going to be even better.

See you all next announcement thread and everyone keep rockin!

Holy frekin crap. Rarely am I at a loss for words but this does it. More Slightly Stoopid?!?!? Sublime?!?!? FREKING SUBPOP RECORDS?!?!? Hubbakdjdodka *drools*

"I disagree" is a lot more civil and leads to discussion rather than one side simply rejecting the other side's opinions. Which I never do. I always accept and listen to someone's opinions, even if I never agree with them.

I do get very angry, however, when people try to deny someone the right to have an opinion. People like Dogmatic and MMB7 deal with me on a daily basis by simply letting me have my controversial opinions and just ignoring me. If someone disagrees, great! We can discuss our different points of view. A room full of people who all agree with each other is a room full of boring people. However, the second that someone simply says "Wrong" and leaves it at that is what gets me very upset.

Maybe you should start not taking things people say on the internet too personally, it sounds an awful lot like you are doing just that. Also it wouldn't hurt to keep your criticisms of music to yourself once in a while, you'd get in a lot less arguments that way.

I disagree. I don't find Paramore repetitive. You might and all of the power to you.
But just because I don't find them repetitive, that shouldn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to say that about any band ever.
You do use that criticism an awful lot. That criticism is about as redundant and overused as saying something is generic or overrated and at the end of the day if the worst thing you can say about something is that it's repetitive it must not be all that bad.

Hell, I'll give him two goats and a slab of Canadian bacon. If you get some more FotC, I'd also like "Bowie", "Foux Du Fafa", "Hurt Feelings" and "You Don't Have To Be A Prostitute".

And what the heck: throw in "Think About It", "Not Crying", "If You're Into It" and "Sugalumps".

"Think About It" would have the greatest harmonies ever.

Also, I'd love to see "Hiphopapotomus vs. Rhymenoceros", "We're Both In Love With A Sexy Lady", "Leggy Blonde", "Inner City Pressure", and "I Told You I Was Freaky".

I don't know why, but in my über-excited state of mind-blowedness, I was thinking that "Leggy Blonde" would be harder to license because Rhys Darby took main vocals. But probably not, eh?

Add that to my list of FotC songs I want.

And I don't even like A7X, but this means "Chapter Four" and "Second Heartbeat", right? Not to say ill buy them.
