The thing that disappionted me about TBRB is that their most well known hits were kinda of being avoid :/ I sure as hell wanted to play "Let It Be", "Yesterday" or any other songs that weren't released as dlc
I had to vote for TBRB. To my mind it's a masterpiece, just about perfect in every way. I really enjoyed Lego (though I never bothered to finish the campaign); the little music-video set pieces are great. I never bothered to play GDRB, not really being a fan; it was in my Xbox just long enough to buy the export and never again. There are about a dozen of their radio hits that I was interested in having and a some of the other songs have grown on me, but I've 1-lightered half of them.
I'm surprised that anyone has voted for Blitz. The best RB spinoff? Really??? I was unimpressed when I first tried it and then briefly addicted to it before suddenly becoming indifferent without really noticing (probably because I'm not particular good at it and wasn't improving very quickly). I don't think that I've played it in the last couple of weeks.
Well I did say kinda of :P Meaning not completely :P And yes did avoid some of their hits not all of them, but if you know The Beatles what comes to mind is: "Love Me Do", "Yesterday", "Let It Be", "Eleanor Rigby", "Hey Jude". You can possibly tell me that those are hits they did avoid :P
Beatles, with Blitz as a close second.
Sure, some big hits like the ones mentioned were not put in the game, but those are all songs that would be much more suitable with a keyboard peripheral. It's kind of like if "My Immortal" by Evanescence was in Evanescence Pack 01, 1 of their most popular songs but not suitable for RB2 gameplay.
The only massive difference being that "My Immortal" wouldn't be suitable for RB3 gameplay either because for the majority of the song there is only vocals, keyboard and string parts so like "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" strings would be charted to bass with guitar and drums doing nothing (of course the single version would be more suitable than the album version).
Beatles of course!
