Wait, this could be something. Just yesterday we had an issue where Xbox 360 users were unable to connect to Blitz because there was a bug in an RB World goal. These connectivity issues weren't being reflected in our server reports because the blockage wasn't with the servers, but with RB World.

Are any of the regular posters in this thread linked to RB World? Try unlinking and see if that improves connectivity at all. I'll follow up with Web / Live Ops to see if it's possible that this could be similar to the issue we saw yesterday.

There are no guarantees that it's the same issue but it would explain 1) why users in this thread reported an increase in problems around Blitz launch 2) why we wouldn't see these problems reflected in our server logs and 3) why Live Ops wouldn't have seen an issue that was more Web based. At the very least, it's worth trying to see if it points us in the right direction.

I'm not connected to RB world. I have had the dreaded " not connected to the server" issue since Blitz came out. This week, I have had no problems connecting to RCS at all, which has been great. I have only played blitz once or twice this week with no problems and basically spent most of my time on RB. I'm on a PS3.
I may have misunderstood what you were asking for Henry. sorry.

Another weekend with no problems connecting to the RCS.

As for the Rock Band World, I had the RCS issues before I linked my account to it, and my partner has not linked to it or even played a single song in Blitz.
Now that doesn't mean Rock Band World did not have an impact on him, rkdbgurl or myself... If part of the connection process to the RCS involves querying the Rock Band World servers (web services I would imagine). I have been linked to Rock Band World since mid September.

In any event at this point it certainly seems that whatever was wrong is fixed now. Thanks HMX!

As I've said in a couple of other places, that happened to us, too.

(Am I allowed to post that?)

So, been a while since I've even heard about someone who has trouble connecting. I was wondering if HMX did something about this.... or it fixed itself? We didn't heard anything about it.
