Do you accept '80s pop/new wave?
If I did my own tiering thread, I would have the same rules.

How are my rules restrictive? No death metal, no rap/hip-hop/pop, please provide a YT video. That's it.
Rule 2 isn't a rule, just saying I do RB3 versions of songs. Rule 4 is just me saying if you don't adhere to the rules, I will ignore your request. Seems fair to me. The only thing I reckon is restrictive is the 3 a day rule, I can see your view. Depending on how I feel I'll either:
A) Keep it at 3 a day.
B) Make it 5 a day.
C) Make it a "as it comes" way, some days I'll do many and others I won't do any.
Honestly, option C would suit me best, but like I said I'll see how I feel.
Yes I do. Just link the song here. :)
Just to clarify, the "no pop" rule should basically mean no generic pop that came out in the last 5 years, stuff made by auto-tune and computers that 10 year old girls listen to. But that should be obvious, since no one here (I hope) would request such a thing. I'm okay with doing more normal pop.
Wow, yet ANOTHER ONE :D
Tool - Prison Sex
Speaking of "yet another one", you still need to update yours, Gunsrock, it's been days without an update.
Heatwave - "Boogie Nights"
I never found restricting genres a good idea, ever when it comes to things like this. I see the reasoning, but what if someone wants to try, say, an Avril Lavigne song? They can't since it'd probably fall under the "generic pop" rule.
I'm not saying change the rule or anything, but I'm just stating my opinion.
That said...
Los Campesinos! - By Your Hand
Then that'd be fine. It's pop, but not generic pop as I call it.Quote:

As I've said before but to clarify even further. Generic pop is things like Bieber, Minaj, GaGa and OneDirection, things only a 10yo girl requests, made by computers and auto-tune. Which I strongly forbid from being requested. As if anyone is going to though.
Not to worry. Post 12 here by me for reference:
I'll add that to the first post to avoid confusion. :)Quote:

And done. Will continue tomorrow.
For the record, I may have got it completely wrong, since those 3 songs are my first attempt at tiering, though thankfully an interesting group to tier.
Notes: I listed CaC as Progressive, since it's listed as Prog Rock or Prog Metal. I listed Incubus as Metal, since it's kinda Alternative/Metal/Rock, but on Wiki it's three types of Metal. And Paramore is listed as Pop Rock, where I used Transformers as the album.
Incubus may be a bit off. The drums sounded intense and constant, and those african bongo solos sounded really tough, the keys I think were at the start, there were some strange noises that I thought were synths. As I say I could be wrong. ;)
