Hey gang,

On November 13th, two soundtrack classics from singer songwriter Kenny Loggins, off of 1984’s The Essential Kenny Loggins, will come to the Rock Band Music Store! “I’m Alright,” the theme to the 1980 film Caddyshack, originally appeared on the legendary comedy’s soundtrack. “Footloose,” from the 1984 film of the same name, will also be available!

Additionally, Green Day tracks (many previously only available as part of the Green Day: Rock Band disc) will be available for download from the Music Store! Over 40 Green Day tracks will be available as part of packs or singles, detailed below. And for the first time, Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades will be available for two of those tracks – “American Idiot” and “When I Come Around”!

These tracks come on the day of release of the band’s latest record, Green Day ¡Dos!, the second of the three album trilogy entitled Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, Green Day ¡Tré!.

Late update: the Green Day single for “Extraordinary Girl” will likely be delayed until 11/27/12 in SCEE (aka PS3 international). There was an issue with QA but we'll resubmit as quickly as possible.

This track will still be released on time in SCEE as part of the American Idiot album.

Later update: there were several small issues with the Green Day content on the PS3 in Europe, namely an incorrect price for the full Dookie album, and The Static Age and Restless Heart Syndrome not appearing in the UK (though they should be available in all other regions).

We've just heard from SCEE that these issues should all be resolved by early next week.


Also, some Nintendo users in the US have reported that Green Day is listed as "Currently Unavailable". We've requested a fix but haven't heard back with a timeline yet. Things should be fine in NOE (Nintendo international) but we'll follow up if we hear different.
