Atomic was pulled a long time ago. It's on the website and listed for sale, but when you try to purchase it, you just get an error.

This thread makes me so sad.

I wish we could get some sort of heads up on what is about to get pulled, cause I know I'd be guaranteed to pick up songs that were about to go.

At a glance, a lot of the songs that were pulled seem to be the result of label difficulties. (The second and third lists aren't being counted here, as those were never officially released to be pulled from the store.) Those situations tend to happen pretty rapidly; I wouldn't be surprised if there were songs pulled before the author even knew they had to go.

We got warning with Snoop Dog, but in general, particularly if it's a royalties/payment thing, it's likely to just get pulled (why would the artist want the wrong people getting any more money than they already have without their cut?)

    Pulled from the store:

    • Desoto Jones - Giant Magnets
    • Engel - Calling Out
    • Gang of Four - A Fruit Fly In The Beehive
    • KMFDM - Juke Joint Jezebel
    • KMFDM - A Drug Against War
    • Public Radio - Forgot Love
    • Ride Your Bike - Coat Rack
    • Robby Suavé - Bean
    • Ronald Jenkees - Guitar Sound
    • Scott Gehrett - Black Cloud
    • She Bears - What Morning Brings

    Passed but never released:
    • Benighted - Let the Blood Spill Between My Broken Teeth (2x Bass Pedal)
    • Bill Bruford's Earthworks - Footloose And Fancy Free
    • Blondie - Atomic
    • Engel - Calling Out (2x Bass Pedal)
    • Ron Wasserman - Revengers
    • Sear Bliss - Tunnels Of Vision
    • The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You

    Passed but being revised:
    • Adept - The Ivory Tower
    • Brian Kahanek - Gemini
    • Vanattica - Ready, Set, Stop

Songs from the first list were available. Songs from the second were never technically officially available. Songs from the third list are still coming at some point.

Awesome compiled list! I own every one of these songs except for Adept - Ivory Tower which I was too late to purchase.

Fortunately, anything in list 3 has a chance of being officially released, so you'll be able to pick up the proper version.

I'm really hoping for the Adept song to pass soon. I think I'll wait till Gemini hits the store since it already got pulled twice.

This policy is recommended by Harmonix for all songs.

As someone who missed out on the KMFDM songs, I am really disappointed that they are gone.

Heck, KMFDM still advertises them on their own website: http://www.kmfdm.net/RBN/

I don't suppose there's any hope of them returning to RBN, eh?

Two thoughts there. One, that's odd, two, I checked out a local band earlier whose website says they have an upcoming show in 2010. So, I mean... web presence is not always well maintained.
