Minotaur Project is a definitely one to look at!

The Shirock songs are pretty cool, they sound kinda like Coldplay, but a little rockier.

Yea, it's very much a similar piano-based anthemic-alt-rock sort of thing. (I'm kinda glad/lucky we guessed the same genre that Coldplay wound up in. Little victories.)
