You can't compare different genres. Your absolute opinion is fact attitudes is frankly, dumb.

I'm going to politely ignore anything else herein because honestly all you do is say things are comparable and better without any rhyme or reason outside of personal preference which is as childish as it is nonobjective. Preference does not make something better. As a writer myself, I find the comparison laughable as it would be about the same as someone comparing my anime thematic adventure novel to Twilight just because it has wolves. Comparing x to z is pointless because they have nothing in common to compare, not to mention is the comparison as inane as it is incomparable. I understand you like the game, but your dismissal of other games in a manner of factual presentation because of your preference is just devoid of value and intellectual property.
At the end of the day I value Cipher's opinion more than yours because he doesn't present it as an absolute and doesn't inherently go about going into a conversation to antagonize.
You take everything all too personally. When I say Spec Ops is better I am saying I think its better. I am not insulting you or your opinion as you seem to think I am. You yourself said that The Walking Dead has better writing and what not then Spec Ops then you come and say they cant be compared. At the end of the day The Walking Dead and Spec Ops are both video games. Both great video games. But Spec Ops does everything better than The Walking Dead. I played both so Ill compare them in a GOTY context. You dont like that fine, but I dont really care what you think of my list and me comparing things you dont think should be compared.
that's kinda impossible, seeing as it being better would be a fact.
you "liking" it better would be a more accurate choice of words
something is either better or not.
parts of it are either better or not.
those are factual statements no matter what way you put it.
and neither of those matter, the only thing that matters is which you LIKE better. which has nothing to do with any of those things.
"Better" is not 100% always a fact. By me saying that x is better than y means I think x is better than y. Im sure that there are people that think y is better than x. And again I dont think I should have to specify every single one of my posts with a statement that this is my opinion. If you dont agree with me cool, if you do cool. There is nothing anyone can do to convince me that The Walking Dead is a better video game than Spec Ops. Which is where this whole thing started.
in what world is better not always 100% a fact?
when you're saying that you "think" X is better than Y, you are simply saying that you could be either right or wrong about that.
i'm also not asking you to state that it is your opinion.
I'm just getting crazy annoyed by people that keep saying "I think this is better" when all they really are saying is "I like this better"
If you didnt think something was better why would you like it better? Thats like saying I like The Walking Dead better but Spec Ops is better. That doesnt make sense to me.
Without qualifying a statement I can almost always come up with a way that x isnt better than y.
For example.
"The SNES is better than 360" holes all over that.
"Technically speaking the 360 is better than the SNES" qualified and can be proven making it a fact.
