    2007 - 4
    2008 - 1 (+20)
    2009 - 11
    2010 - 31 (and 1 I keep pondering)
    2011 - 8
    2012 - 8 + GD (Export)

2010 wins on quality and quantity, as GD was an export, and I wouldn't have gotten them all otherwise.

I bolded the songs I bought after the sale happen because I had no plans of getting them until they were only 80 msp

so it looks 2009 is the worst with 2011 getting second worse (I had no plans to get the Stevie Wonder pack but I won it) but Ghost of Perdition is one of the best songs in the game

I think I will be giving it to 2010

No obvious choice here. I picked 2009, mostly due to the AFI pack. The Tom Petty live packs are pretty good, too...I wish I hadn't taken so long to get them.

Pssh. It pales in comparison to December 2011.

The Singles alone would beat the entire 2012.

    38 special
    bb king
    new order
    talking heads
    procol harum
    Bad Company

07 was amazing, how is it not winning? The Police, Metallica, CCR, The Knack, T. Rex, Bowie... incredible picks, I would've bought some Qotsa too but I didn't care for those songs.

09 actually is probably second. The Bleach pack is among my favorite songs to play in the game, The White Stripes, The Damned, Tom Petty and Go-Go's were all pretty damn awesome too.

Then 08 for sure, I really dug that Foo Fighters album, and the Dead Kennedy's and Mission of Burma packs were the best surprises Harmonix ever gave us. Outside of that, I guess Database Corrupted was a cool song, but I never cared for the rest of the 20 free, or the rest of the month for that matter.

2010 comes next pretty closely after 08, the Rush single was great, loved the New Order and Talking Heads, Procol Harum was real nice, Imagine was a good album, and I really dug the Skynyrd pack as well as Hold On Loosely.

2011 comes crawling up after... I like Mama Tried and Ring of Fire out of the country pack, although I much prefer the Johnny Cash songs from that January, the Stevie Wonder pack was a fun surprise, and I even thought We Built This City was pretty cool.

And in last, just like every other month is 2012. Still some great songs, but really only from the singles week, The Weight, Jessica, I Melt With You, and Closer were all really fun and among my favorite songs of that year.
