bottom line is, HMX couldn't go too wrong with a living colour pack... as long as they stick to their first two albums.

damn, i just remember the elton john pack we got earlier this month. a living colour pack would probably end up being CoP, What's Your Favorite Colour, and something off of Collideascope.

That seems to be one of the few exceptions in pretty much 2 years I think. Things like that a very unlikely to happen.

Honestly looking at the blitz artists and what songs they have left, these are the ones with the best shot of getting a pack(needing at least 2 songs to go with the blitz song):

Avenged Sevenfold with only their newest singles and I still don't think they're that likely.

Collective Soul has 2 other very probable songs.

Foo Fighters still has a few singles that are probable.

Kool & The Gang has a few songs but I'm not sure this genre would get a pack. About on par with A7X.

Kelly Clarkson has plenty of choices, though wouldn't be my choice. Highly probable.

Maroon 5 definitely has a few missing hits and seem very likely.

Red Hot Chili Peppers definitely has a few big hits left.

    Shinedown has some likely choices.

Soundgarden with their newer songs, but not sure they'd be likely.

As for the rest we haven't seen yet:

Queen was said not to be getting a pack though they have some likely songs left.

Quiet Riot has only one other likely song.

Great White = One Hit Wonder.

Rick Springfield = Close enough to a One Hit Wonder.

All-American Rejects, Barenaked Ladies, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Iron Maiden, Living Colour, and Tears for Fears all have some stuff left but I think are not likely at all.

And the ones that we have seen:

Elton John already got a pack, as did My Chemical Romance though they both would have other choices.

Fun. has another couple of songs but it missed the boat.

P!nk has other songs but wound up like Fun.

Foster the People, even though they got singles before blitz, that was pretty much their "pack". They don't have anything left anyway.

I've cast my lot in with expecting Kelly Clarkson and Collective Soul, though I wouldn't be surprised to see Maroon 5, RHCP, or Shinedown get the pack(s) based on what songs they have left.

And knowing the Foo Fighters and A7X they can never be completely counted out. Soundgarden and Kool & The Gang have at least some outside shot.

Anything else would be a shock to me.

Foster The People still has "Houdini"
Fun. is still "new" on the radio and they have another song "Carry On" as a single, plus they have two albums with great music that is already popular and could easily be in RB.
I would love more P!nk songs though. I think she has more songs than Lady Gaga, that's odd considering P!nk has always been in the background of pop music pretty much.

First, just because it was a single doesn't mean it was a "good" single. Some bands had tons of singles but nearly all bombed(some one hit wonders for example).

Houdini didn't do so well on the charts(didn't chart on the US Hot 100 and only pulled a 37 on the US Alt. chart) or sales wise. Extremely unlikely we'd see it.

Carry On did decently(charted just outside of 100 but pulled an 11 and 13 on the Alt. and Rock charts, just missing being a top ten), but not nearly as well as their other singles(being a new song the sales numbers would be hard to judge). However, if they had gotten a 3 pack it would have likely been the third song. I did edit to reflect it's possible theoretical inclusion. Being that we got Fun. as a single negates this possibility(for the time being at least) though.

Great White was a One Hit Wonder??? That's news to me. They were pretty darn popular when I was listening to them late-80's/early 90's as evidenced by the 2 platinum and 1 gold albums they had. That's not my definition of a One Hit Wonder band. "Once Bitten Twice Shy" wasn't even their song, it was a cover of an Ian Hunter song from the 70's. 'Rock Me', 'Save Your Love', 'Mista Bone', 'The Angel Song', 'House of Broken Love', 'Call It Rock n Roll' all huge hard rock hits for anyone into that scene back then. They were also known for some pretty incredible Led Zep covers live.

They had other semi successful singles and sold a few albums, but they did have only one hit song. Nothing else even broke into the top 50 save for one song which only got to 30. Once Bitten is their one hit.

Yeah, Great White are not likely to get a pack. My money's still on Kelly Clarkson and A7X.
