Check out other ways you can get a discount. I used to get the Target Card and Employee discount to get 10-20% off of PSN cards. I need to check if my current employer offers discounts like that.

So, anyone know where I can get a good deal on PS+? Seems XBL Gold is always around $35 somewhere but sales on PS+ are a bit more rare.

Yeah, that's how I read it. I know i poke fun at him on occasion, and I don't often agree with him, but I enjoy that he tries to express his opinion, and it's often fun listening to a different perspective (If only to point and laugh at it ;) )

My mom works for Wal-Mart and they no longer give the discount on MSP cards. I would think it's the same for PS+.

Also check for PSN money, if you can save on that, you can give that, and he can buy the renewal using that money instead. Sams club had a deal online for them I think.
