They probably had the song licensed a long time ago, knowing when they wanted to use it. Not every song is licensed 6 months before it's put out (The Aerosmith stuff for example was a rush job)

no more RSM or peterock complaining about DLC, no more Papermario complaining about pro-upgrades, no more overall complaining about DLC.
