You're supposed to choke your chicken first.
not helping
Listening to it right now, in fact. I'd agree with your assessment, though - it's very good, but it's not likely an AotY contender like Part One was (as you'll recall, Part One was my 2012 AotY).
Long time to go this year, but Steven Wilson's The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories) is a strong contender at this point.
A random just picked Oh My God.
I'm in love.
I think I may have underreacted to this earlier. My little brother may just be the dumbest person on the face of the planet. The dumbf*** didn't get any insurance information, no phone number, no adress, email, nothing but the guy says he goes to the gym at such time on a certain day. The kid has banged up my tail bumper, told me there was nothing wrong with the car and it drove alright and gone on his merry way.
My other brother living with me says we should totally give him the ultimate prank. But this means I must join forces with my enemy for a common goal. Like Batman teaming up with Joker, this can only backfire.
I say you just beat him. It's more fun and is good exercise.
Yeah, Part One was my 2012 AoTY as well. Two is good, but leans a bit more to the mellow/rustic side and misses those high peaks that Part One had in songs like the opener and A Boy In Darkness.
Favorite track so far is Worked Out, I think, although East Coast Racer is really good as well.
I've listened to Wilson's latest for the first time today and it's indeed a great album. Still not as good as his best material with Porcupine Tree (I doubt anything he does will ever top Signify for me), but possibly his best solo album to date.
It's gonna be big and its going to involve Greg level psychological torture. This reminds me, I never showed you guys one of the I want to say 200 little letters I left in my room for Greg to find. I had a lot of time on my hands in the hospital. But I have no idea how to mess with someone whose too stupid to know he's being messed with. My older brother is at least really smart and when we messed with each other's minds, we knew it.
