Dammit, I thought I'd buy the Firewind RBN songs as I like "World on Fire" (it was DLC for GHWoR) and after I play them all I see Jibs at the top of the friend leaderboards again :p

I can't tell if I don't understand the problem, or no problem actually exists. I'm leaning toward the 2nd option.

If Nintendo put Fire Red or even just Red out on iOS/Android they'd make **** loads of money. Id but that in a second.

but that would also be a stupid business move... they can release it on the 3DS virtual console to make more money

But pokemon is essentially the only thing keeping the gameboy afloat.

They wont release the old ones on the current systems because then people would just buy that and get their pokemon fix. This way they can still get money from people who aren't going to buy a 3DS no matter what. But it will never happen. Nintendo isnt known for good decisions when it comes to a lot of things, Pokemon especially.

hmm the 3DS has sold 22 million units... and there has not been a single core pokemon game...
