Mine have to be replaced every 4-6 months. Crap misshapen feet destroy them around about that mark :/

My last two pairs of shoes developed a crack in the sole. So the last couple of times I went shopping for shoes was due to my feet getting wet.

I don't know how that puddle of urine got there, but it most assuredly did not happen when I fell down the stairs wearing my short-shorts, and I resent the implication.

Yeah, I've got wide sized feet that tend to break out the sides of normal shoes unless they're converses which are nice enough to form nicely around my feat.

But anyway, today's brand of fashion is inspired by the homeless. The widening hole in my jeans, the paint smears, the I'm not sure if he's slept this week darkened eyes, the scent of mineral spirits, and of course the unshaven red beard forming below. If I didn't live in the South and saw worse today, I'd feel pretty deadbeat.

You're actually the first person I've known to do the same thing to their shoes. Everyone else I know hads managed to keep hold of their shoes for at least a year :/

I have shoes that are over ten years old and holding strong. Perhaps I don't walk... I float.

That's the only logical explanation for your ten year old shoes

Try New Balance. They're a little more expensive, but they tend to last longer, and work well for wide feet.
