I've been better, just the depressions hitting me pretty hard again. Still not as bad as last year around this time but not exactly something I enjoy.

    How's your recovery going btw?

Sorry to hear about that Jibs, I know how hard that can be. My depression usually hit me hardest around September, just anniversaries of lost friends and such that really bring me down. But on the bright side, I can walk now, don't have to wrap my arm in plastic bags to take a shower, and can paint so I am doing so much better.

Here is a wonderful irony. I have a physical physician now after having my cast removed and they were going over a list of things to help regain better mobility in my foot.

"So Mr. Witt I advise that you try activities that don't stress your foot bones as much, but still help build muscle you may have lost from lack of use. Swimming and cycling could help you with this..."

What happened to the days when physicians actually read your chart to figure out what injured you in the first place?

Anyway I hope something really awesome at least happens for your birthday to change any terrible memories you have about it. Sadly my way of dealing with problems is distraction rather than confrontation.

oh it's not the birthday itself, It's a completely unrelated event that took place on the same day.
