I like the press release....copied, pasted, whatever. It's good positive publicity to let people know that Rockband is still alive and worth a second look.

I certainly hope not, because I copy and paste it every week to a thread I have on another forum. I can't see why HMX would object, it's free publicity for them. But if they ever asked me to stop I certainly would.

There's no problem with the press release being posted in multiple places. We circulate the weekly DLC alerts to hundreds of press outlets, gaming news sites, music sites, fan pages, etc. It's usually planned when bands / labels post the DLC announcements, and it's always appreciated when members of the community help spread the word by posting it in other places that we don't reach.

Personally, I'd like to see Angel in a future Aerosmith related release in the future.

We'd be able to get a good mix of keys/vocals from that, at the very least.

I'm so confused. It's 2/1 and still no dlc on my wii? Does anyone know what's going on?

We'll credit whatever source labels specify, and it's usually tied to licensing. Licensing can affect anything from what album a track is listed under, what album cover appears (or if that's even an option), and how featured artists are credited. It can get pretty complicated sometimes.

I for one am happy we got these tunes, any which way they were licensed, and I'm definitely relieved we didn't get the version of "Sweet Emotion" that's actually on Greatest Hits. That single edit got slashed seven ways to Sunday.

Just to be anal though, I have to ask: Shouldn't those three tracks have "(1980)" displayed after their dates, similar to how other tracks from greatest-hits compilations have been listed?

Downloaded the Aerosmith pack. No problems with the download, but the sound quality seems ... flat? Like it was pushed through a cheap radio?

Anyone else experiencing that subjective opinion?

As far as the play - I've only tried the bass lines so far but they're quite fun.
