What I will miss the most is all the whining about the DLC that is released and the DLC that is not. Although Rsmith does not support vocals, keys or drums, it does do bass and guitar properly. And since it is possible to make ANY song (even a transcription of a Vivaldi concerto) a Rock smtih custom song, I will be able to play that game for years without putting up with the crap heavy metal songs that have are already way too plentiful on this platform and theirs. With regard to Blitz, what a shame that Harmonix should leave the game business on such a lame note.
I will miss the one or two good songs that were released here as DLC each month, but I'll get over it. Good bye, Harmonix. Say Hi to Atari for me.

You do realize Harmonix isn't going anywhere? Rock Band is simply stopping weekly content which means you just have to play the several thousand songs released during its tenure. This isn't Neversoft, nobody is shutting Harmonix down for moving on to new and exciting things.

Slim chance we actually get some Led Zepplin before the end of the dlc run. Would be cool though.

    ???

We're not going anywhere. In fact, we're working on more new stuff right now than at any point in the 5 years since I've been at Harmonix. Expect us to continue supporting RB and DC, and make additional announcements in the coming months.

So seeing older stuff being added again am I to understand no one has request anything from ATRs new album or In This Moments new album? Nothing from Stone Sour? Five Finger Death Punch? I'm confused as to what is going on to my once all time favorite game rock band. :( Unsun would be a good addition along with Night wish.

These Blitz tracks are being re released for Wii users and people that didn't buy RB Blitz.

People are still requesting new things, but requesting new things isn't a guarantee that we'll be able to get those news things.

Also, weekly RB DLC is ending in April and there's a longer post about the wind down of DLC in the Announcement forum.

You're supporting RB by cutting weekly DLC...?

Or by keeping the forums, the support portal, the servers, the Xbox 360 RBN...

xbox 360 RBN is dead too. Atleast from anything that isn't complete crap. Which RBN was mostly anyway. Not gonna get alot of stuff when it only goes to 360, and the next gens are on the horizon. Unless it transfers to the next xbox. Which I doubt it will. The rest is pretty unimportant.
