Ok...here is my big victory for the week. I finally got 5 stars on expert drums on "We Are Young" It has taken me way too many tries to get that silly 5th star. woot!!!
Heart of Glass has to be one of the most annoying RB3 Pro Keys songs outside of Roundabout and the likes. You have to pretty much FC to even 5S it, and I only got the GS on the final, long, chord sustain.
Whatever. It's done now.
Finally 4*ed Llama pro bass. I might actually have an outside shot of pulling this 5* off. Just a few things to get consistent on, and then a few things to get lucky on, and a fortunate run might be possible.
Got rid of a hemorrhoid.
Beat my Hard 99% run on Misery Business, after swapping out a suspect yellow cymbal to blue.
Now I'm back to soldering the living fecal matter out of the defective cymbal. More details in fail.
Well, it's not going to keep, but I accomplished my newest long-term RB goal.
My victory of the week so far is grinding out an FC of "Saturday's Alright for Fighting" on bass. It seemed long to me at about 5.5 minutes, and it was irritating when I missed one near the end ... I can't imagine how it would be to get 15 minutes or so in and miss one. I'd probably break my guitar/bass controller after a few late misses.
Nice one. I think I've FC'd that but I can understand it being tough to do, lots of moving around the fretboard.
As it stands, I still can't FC 2112. Overture and Presentation, with maybe Temples of Syrinx mean I miss about 5 notes out of 2500. I still need more practice. The only FC'd bits I have are Discovery (no Bass here), and the last 3 parts (took effort to FC, but doable). If I actually FC it, I'll probably cry with happiness.
