I see. That's how I interpreted it. It's just that with that example, getting the Overdrive to first of all start on the 7th green is tough enough, it's usually 1 second or two later, and secondly since I don't know how to squeeze/double squeeze/early whammy, and since my whammying isn't great to begin with, it's hard to get the correct number of "+".

Though even with all that, there are times on that SH thread where the path they have is physically impossible. I remember I Need To Know saying something like activate on an orange after 1 lot of OD, which is impossible since said 1 phase gives 0.25 of a bar, so you can't activate. Small things like that annoyed me. I'll try again sometime but since that thread is 18 months without a response besides me, I doubt it'll get fixed. :(

And I can't get your link to work. :(

Yeah it's still down, I was using it yesterday and it was fine, probably a mantenance.

Also, most of the SH dudes creates path for squeezing, and optimal whammying, you might want to adjust them to your play style, hence why I prefer to use ipather since you see the chart, and can create your own fairly easily if no one has created one, or the path isn't right for you.

Also, if you have trouble activating exactly where you want, you can always use a pedal. The stock RB drum pedal works fine with the guitar, if you haven't notice there's a small jack in near the PS button on the side, it's there for a pedal, to activate OD, the keyboard has it too, I use this, and used it on basic guitar/bass as well. If I recall correctly though, there's about 1second delay on the guitar, but if you can get used to it like I did you won't have any problems pathing.

Hmm. I'll investigate getting a pedal. It'd be a lot easier than tilting the guitar which causes me to either not be able to see the chart or activate too late/too early, or even by accident sometimes when standing whilst playing.

Currently I try and use select as that seems to activate fairly on time, but that can cause me to lose streak if it's used during a load of fast notes, it works much better on sustains. ;)

This week, I was able to beat two friend's band score on "How You Remind Me" with me on vocals. No gold, but a proud accomplishment anyways.
In not so victory, I'm still not too great on Guitar. "Panic", and "Still Waiting" are too difficult to get 5 stars on.
