Eh, I'm not in love with it, but I remember having the same feeling when we switched from the red forums to the black forums. I absolutely hated the change.
Layout will take some time getting used to, but I'm willing to at least deal with it for the moment, the no post count kinda sucks, cause now I don't know who to take seriously or not, and with these random backgrounds, there's no more invisa-text :(
RB3 on the other hand is great, keys are a blast until my hand gets lost then I hate it.
I like the songs a lot more than I thought I would.
RO: someone should like make a list of all the changes to the forum cause I feel like all of this is brand new (and I fear the influx of new posters that is bound to happen)
Rock Lobster. that is all
I miss the old RB.com smileys.
:(
^ what the hell is that?!
Picked it up after work without much competition, though our PS3 keyboards are in delay up here still. Still pretty fun voxtar/bassing through for now.
As for the forum, I hope htis isn't the final layout, it seems like a bad myspace theme, with a poorly situated giant graphic and annoyingly compressed text space.
Rock Band 3 is incredible, we were able to get a midnight release since my brother works at Gamestop. We played for a couple of hours going through the Road Challenges, I liked how you were given a choice of three different setlists. I played a lot today as well mainly focusing on keys. The Doors pack just might be the best DLC we've ever gotten, I must've played "Peace Frog" at least 5 times, but the whole pack is incredible, just like the game.
I only picked up the free pack so far, but I love it. Definitely going to get the other 9 soon. I really hope they update older songs with keyboard, although it really does make the current DLC that much better. Really looking forward to Billy Joel and particularly John Lennon.
Bah this new website is very disorienting
