I've found so many awesome bands from that thread, might scour over it more thoroughly now.
Pity there wasnt *much* Doom/Stoner at that stage...Been on a pretty big Stoner/Doom/Sludge fix recently.

Reminds me, I'm seeing High on Fire later tonight. The ****ty part was Torche cancelled a month ago. And then Kylesa cancelled last night. ****ing pissed about it but at least I will still hangaround backstage and hopefully chill with Matt Pike.
Leaf Hound and Tear Gas are some great 70s stoner bands. There's also plenty not on my list like Tin Can and Orangutang.
Meeting...Matt Pike.....I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now...Eh, have fun, be sure to grab a pic if ya can!
Also, sucks bout Kylesa cancelling, Torche are ok, but Kylesa are sweet as.

Due to a pricing error, a brand new pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50s arrived at my door today for... $11. This is probably be the best $11 I've ever spent.
Gang of Four finally makes it to Rock Band, but of course it's a song on their new album coming out next year.
Wait, when was this announced? Is it on RBN?
