Still waiting for "A Thousand Nights" by Mile Marker Zero to make it over (another one from around the time of the RBN launch), but now it's only one song from then that I'm complaining about, not two...

Late for the Superbowl discussion, but Prince's is unbeatable, although Petty's sure comes close.

I didn't like The Who's show last year, but they were loads better than the Peas.

The few seconds I watched it was just awful, so I tuned in to the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet instead. Tom Petty's performance was great, that might actually be my favorite Super Bowl halftime show of what I can remember.

Prince was the best one I've ever seen, easily

however this year's was the worst one since the terrible Springsteen one

Heh, we initially turned to that during the Halftime show, moreso because of the kitty bowl halftime show. After the commercial we turned back a song or two before Slash did.

We should have stuck to the Puppy Bowl.

If that's what happens when you get a contemporary artist to do it, then stick to getting old farts to playing Halftime.

Besides SY, I'd love for John Fogetry or a Dire Straits reunion to do it. Maiden too, but that probably wouldn't fly.

I am just now beginning to kick myself for missing Band of Horses a few months ago.

I'm running a few tests through a internet radio server to apply for a forum position on another board-- so right now so if anyone wants to listen in to give me input on how the flow of the songs go, the lag/buffering rate, etc that'd be great:
