I can see how that can come about, but when that kind of music first hit it was the "goths who thought the cure were gay" who listened to it - same that did Marilyn Manson. Nowadays, I dunno, because they're irrelevant. I guess listening to irrelevant music is nerdy, and as such yes, nerds listen to Korn. Now. :)

"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails,"Kim" by Eminem, and "What Is Love?" by Haddaway are obviously the best wedding songs.

    honorable mentions:

    Eminem - Puke
    Eminem - Kill You
Sir Mix-A-Lot - Baby Got Back
Slayer - Angel Of Death(who doesn't wanna mosh at a wedding?)

At my wedding, I'll have all of We're Only in it for the Money playing. Only after it plays will the marriage be official. In fact, listening to that album will replace the priest/rabii and the ceremony altogether. Later, we'll consummate the marriage to some early Carcass.

I think it depends on whether we're talking the "smart nerds" or the nerds who just have really bad social skills. The latter are probably the ones who go for the really bad metalcore/deathcore ;)

For the record, though, I've never even met a "smart nerd". They're just a fable to me.
