I don't trust reviewers any further than I can throw them - either for when they trash an album I like (see Pitchfork for... well, pretty much whatever) or when they praise an album I detest (DPRP giving a 9/10 to the new Dredg album in something that I could only chalk up to temporary insanity). Both happen pretty often.

Well they gave it a 1.6, which makes it obvious it was spurred by the slam in the song. Yeah, I don't really give a damn about reviews either, I just found that one pretty funny.

RO: I really should stop using the "I don't trust somebody any further than I can throw them" line... if they're particularly scrawny I might be able to throw them a decent distance.

It still might end up on Pitchfork's best of the decade list come 2020, then. See: I Get Wet

I'm a fan of the expression.

How does physical distance relate to trust-ability anyway?

actually I think he had it right. further is a measure of degree, farther is a measure of distance.

re: ska...was into it back in high school, but lost interest.
