I still think Swoon was a big step up from Carnavas.
There's just something about Swoon with the shoegazy-pop/rock sound standing out from their other works, attracting the right amount of atmosphere, thickness and intensity I really liked. Even the production too, it all felt drizzly. I felt the intense was a factor that wasn't all too present in Carnavas.
I can't find anything from Silversun in any of the music stores around here. I guess I'll have to resort to Amazon MP3 or iTunes. I definitely like what I've heard from them so far.
On another note, I found a copy of Converge's 'No Heroes' for a dollar at a local music shop yesterday, so I decided to pick it up because I had heard a lot of good things about Converge. The album also had good ratings. I couldn't get past track 6 before I had to turn it off. Seriously, I listen to some extreme stuff, but I cannot get into this. *Prepares flame shield, just in case*
Discovering Muse... not just the post-OoS Muse. All of it. Great stuff, I love all the albums. Showbiz is intense, and much more different that their other stuff.
I like Muse, But Resistance was so bad.
Resistance got a really bad rap, and, IMO, undeservedly so. It's not OoS or Absolution, but it's still a step up from Black Holes and Revelations (which is probably my least favorite Muse album, for some reason it didn't click for me).
Hall & Oates confirmed as future DLC, pretty sweet.
