Even the Collins era had some occasionally proggy moments, but yeah, that went more in the direction of pop-rock more often than not.

The song "Turn It On Again" is some very catchy crossover prog, though.

A Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering are 100% Prog. ...And There Were Three... is when the band went down their poppier route.

Hmm I'll have to check those out. SEBTP I've listened to a few times now and its so great. Gabriel seems more my style but I'll give the new guy a chance.

The only Phil Collins led Genesis album I like is A Trick of the Tail

I think their output from 71-76 is all pretty equal though.

I really didn't think Phil Collins had a good grasp on their prog era without Gabriel to help. I really didn't feel A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering much at all. I do prefer Invisible Touch over them both, even if it does have... "In too Deep".

But nothing can beat Foxtrot imo.

Thank you! Yeah, that had to be put on hold because I just moved back into my dorm, but I hope to get them done again soon.

Even though I much prefer Gabriel-led Genesis, I enjoy a good amount of the band's output with Collins leading the group.
