Troll 2 was pretty amazing, but for "bad" movies I still prefer The Room.

And yeah, I really have never cared for Depeche Mode either, Policy of Truth and Enjoy the Silence are their only songs that have ever really stuck out to me, and I've heard their three "best" albums (Music for the Masses, Black Celebration, and Violator)

RO: Depeche Mode is the greatest band of all-time, but I wouldn't even place Violator in my top 3 favorite DM albums.

Some Great Reward is their best.

Casablanca on the big screen was such a great experience. I love that film so very much.

Any readers have classic noir/detective novels to suggest?

It's unfortunately not a genre I've really read anything from, sorry.

Have you read Chandler's stuff? That's as essential as you can get though, so I'm guessing you have.

RO: The Wienerschnitzel in my town has been torn down. I am legitimately and shamelessly bummed about this.

I've heard great things about Agatha Christie's novels, but I have yet to check any of them out.

I'm probably going to sound lame here, but A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was pretty damn good, though you've probably read it since sherlock holmes is probably entry level.
