Lubricant and Entombed are probably the best of the what I've heard from the movement.

Okay, that's not exactly how bats and metal are supposed to go together.

My theory is that Bat was a distant relative to the bird that crapped in Cyndi Lauper's mouth.

Agreed. I liked his comment on what it basically amounted to, though. Would have to suck, though - that's not a pleasant course of preventative treatment, rabies shots.
