    That is a really bad stereotype. If there was any truth to that, all of those American Idol fools would form punk bands.

    Problem being that there are a lot of ones that aren't half decent. But I agree.

    darkwinterbeast8: The AI contestants are all vocalists, though. They're going to go for the easiest things for them to sing, which means they'll just do whatever they've been doing out of familiarity.

    True, and they're not even that good of vocalists to begin with.

    RO: There really isn't any bad Shoegaze, at least from the many albums I've listened to. As I keep discovering more and more bands, it's all been quality stuff for the most part.
