Madworld has one of the best soundtracks in a videogame and a great art style.
I bought that the other week out of hope and curiosity, but I haven't got around to playing it yet. I know I will soon, but first I wanna finish Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year-Door.
They aren't the worst band ever but at the same time they aren't the greatest. Meh would be a good way to describe their music, at least in my opinion.
Those kids were just happy to get out of a math test. They'd have been cheering even if the school assembly consisted of a Tijuana Donkey Show.Quote:
RO2: These are the most easily impressed children I've ever seen. At the risk of sounding like a pretentious elitist, does this actually pass for music talent now? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPdyC...eature=related
Not an RO (I don't really know where to put this), but how would you describe Thrall's music?
The Metal Archives list them as black metal, but aside from the vocals, I don't really see the black metal aside from maybe the odd blast. The music's a lot slower and heavier than your average black metal band.
I'm thinking maybe some doom influences (or a lot of doom influences), but I'm not very well versed in that genre [aside from Sabbath and Orchid, or some really "out there" forms of doom like Sunn O)))] to be able to tell.
Just curious, because I'm digging the hell out of their newest record, Vermin to the Earth.
RO: Although Iron Maiden's first two albums are incredibly solid, I actually prefer Dickinson era. I feel like that era is what gave them their more memorable sound.
